Visitor Guidelines:
Assist us in maintaining a welcoming environment for everyone during your visit. Please be considerate of the following:

  • Show respect for the exhibits and refrain from touching protected fossils.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • No pets are allowed inside the museum, except for service animals.
  • Smoking, vaping, alcohol, and recreational cannabis consumption are strictly prohibited on the premises.
  • Solicitation is not permitted on the premises.
  • Feel free to capture photos for personal, non-commercial use.

Palaeontological Site Tours

Embark on an extraordinary adventure that transports you from the museum to the heart of palaeontological exploration.

What to Bring:
If you're planning to join our palaeontological site tour, remember to pack:

  • Sturdy walking shoes or boots
  • One or two water bottles
  • A hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug spray
  • A high-energy snack

Important Notes:

  • The dig site is about a 30-minute drive from the museum, visitors will be given directions to drive to the site.
  • Tours span approximately one kilometer.
  • Safety is paramount; tours may be canceled due to adverse weather conditions or safety concerns.
  • We recommend a moderate level of fitness for navigating steep and narrow paths.
  • There is no food available at the dig site, so please bring your own.
  • Limited amenities at the dig site include a portable toilet with hand sanitizer.
  • Cell phone reception is limited, and there is no Wi-Fi available.
  • Ensure you remain with your guide at all times; access to the coulee is permitted only with an official guide.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy for Devils Coulee Dinosaur and Heritage Museum:

We understand that plans can change. Please take note of our cancellation policy:

  1. Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the event will be eligible for a refund of the program fee.
  2. No refunds will be provided for cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice.
  3. The $5 booking fee is non-refundable.
  4. Refunds will not be issued for factors such as air quality, car trouble, getting lost, or inclement weather when the tour proceeds as scheduled.

Alternate Programming:
Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. If conditions like rain, wet terrain, unsafe roads, or other factors jeopardize the well-being of participants, we may substitute the scheduled program with an alternate one at the regular ticket price. The content of the replacement program will be similar to the original. If you opt not to participate in the alternate program, a refund will be available.

We reserve the right to cancel a program due to poor weather, insufficient registrations, or other pertinent reasons. In the event of program cancellation, a full refund will be provided.
